« It is the desire to capture ink in motion that inspired Cindy Ng Sio Ieng video series, in which ink is given a life of its own, unrestrained by the brush.  It is through its movement and dilution with water that the ink is altered in its tonality. Forms and patterns emerge from the formlessness of ink. Different layers of translucency show various degrees of viscosity and blackness.
