Jiali Gallery is pleased to announce its participation to Art Paris 2014. Please come and visit our booth (G5) and discover the work of 4 Chinese artists : Ma Yongfeng, Guo Peng,  Ren bo and Cindy Ng Sio Leng.

Ma Yonfeng, Guo Peng and Ren Bo are part of the « Post 70’s generation ». Growing up in a fast-developing society, usually with Western impacts in every aspect of life, Chinese artists born in the 1970s tend to reflect the world with their own unique artistic styles and viewpoints. Compared with artists born in the 1950s and early 1960s, they have a different relationship to their history and the West. They are less constrained by ‘Chinese characteristics’ and more open to dialogue.

Cindy Ng Sio Ieng was born in Macau in the 60’s. She is nurtured by her travels around the world. In her oeuvre, ink and paper are not simply sacred tools of tradition; they have become both the signifier and signified of the dialogue between the work, the artist, and the contemporary world she inhabits.
